Who and what this covers

Food Coach is the consultancy practice of KD Alliance, a partnership firm, at Plot No. 16, G.T. Road, Part-1, Sector 29, HUDA, Panipat, Haryana 132103, India. GSTIN: 06ABCFK7864M1ZR. Contact: info@foodcoach.in; +91 98964 44440. This policy concerns consultancy engagements, not LabelYog software subscriptions. It applies when incorporated into the accepted quotation or engagement, together with any agreed project-specific terms. Mandatory legal rights always prevail.

When work starts

Work starts when Food Coach begins the agreed substantive activity for your project, such as examining your documents, reviewing a recipe or artwork, calculating a panel, preparing a submission or undertaking an agreed consultation. Receiving an enquiry or issuing a quotation alone is not commencement. The start, scope, advance and milestones should be recorded in writing so both parties know what has been authorised.

Cancellation before work starts

Send a cancellation request to info@foodcoach.in with the quotation or invoice reference. Before substantive work starts, any refundable advance is assessed after deducting only documented, previously authorised and genuinely non-recoverable third-party commitments, where lawful. A quotation must expressly identify any different permitted pre-commencement arrangement; charges must not be invented after cancellation.

No refunds after work starts

Once the agreed substantive work has started, consultancy service fees are non-refundable for client cancellation, a change of mind, a changed launch plan, abandonment of the product, a new recipe or destination, or dissatisfaction caused by inaccurate or incomplete client information. This rule is subject to refunds required by applicable law and the non-delivery provision below. It does not permit charging an unagreed fee, retaining an overpayment or refusing to address a failure to deliver the agreed service.

If Food Coach cannot deliver

If Food Coach cannot deliver the agreed service, contact us to assess the issue and available remedy. Where no usable agreed service has been delivered, refund the service fees paid for that undelivered service. Where a separately priced or objectively separable part has been properly delivered, reconcile that completed part and refund the fees attributable to the undelivered portion, subject to mandatory law and any agreed remedy. We must not retain fees for an undelivered portion merely by citing the no-refund rule. Third-party costs require a separate documented assessment of what was authorised, actually incurred and legally recoverable.

Errors, scope changes and external decisions

An apparent defect in work within scope should first be investigated and, where appropriate, corrected or re-performed within a reasonable time. If the agreed service still cannot be delivered, assess the refund provision above and applicable legal remedies. New products, recipe changes, extra markets or additional revisions may need a new quotation. A regulator, certification body, customs authority or buyer refusing approval is not itself proof that Food Coach failed to deliver its agreed consultancy service; any error or breach by Food Coach must still be assessed on its merits.

Duplicate payments and third-party charges

A verified duplicate or erroneous payment must be reconciled and returned or adjusted with your agreement; it is not a non-refundable earned service fee. Government, laboratory, certification, courier and other independent-provider fees follow the provider’s lawful rules and the accepted engagement. We do not promise a refund from a third party that we cannot control, and will identify relevant commitments where possible before authorisation.

How to request a review and receive a refund

Write to info@foodcoach.in with your name, quotation or invoice reference, payment reference, relevant deliverables and a short explanation. Do not send card numbers, passwords or bank credentials. We will review the record, explain the decision and confirm any approved amount and processing arrangements in writing. Refund to the original payer and payment route where feasible, following appropriate verification; bank processing and currency differences may affect receipt. We will confirm the expected processing date in writing after approving a refund. You retain applicable complaint, consumer and payment-dispute rights; contacting us first is encouraged, not a waiver of those rights.
