Orange Chilli Sesame Chicken Wings

Ingredients

BATTER FOR CHICKEN
  • 50 gm Corn Flour
  • 25 gm All purpose flour
  • 3 gm salt
  • 2 gm crushed black pepper
  • 5 gm ginger and garlic paste
  • 50 ml water

CHICKEN WINGS
  • 5 nos Chicken wings
  • 2 gm salt
  • 2 gm Black pepper crushed
  • Oil for Frying
ORANGE CHILLI SAUCE
  • 5gm chopped onion
  • 3 gm chopped ginger
  • 3gm chopped garlic
  • 2gm chilli flakes
  • 5 gm Vegetable oil
  • 100 ml Orange juice
  • 50 ml Chicken stock
  • 5 gm Dark soy sauce
  • 25gm sugar
  • 2 gm salt
  • 5ml sesame oil
  • 10 ml vinegar
  • 20gm Corn starch

Method

  1. Batter
    • Mix the ingredients to make a thick batter.
  2. Marinate the chicken wings with salt and pepper and deep fry. Until crispy and cooked well.
  3. Chilli Orange Sauce
    • Saute chopped onion, ginger, garlic and crushed chilli flakes.
    • Add Orange juice and chicken stock and bring to a boil.
    • Add the sugar, soy sauce, vinegar and boil for 3 minutes
    • Add cornstarch to thicken the sauce.
  4. Toss the fried chicken wings in the sauce
  5. Sprinkle white sesame seeds and chopped spring onion.
