He finished schooling under the prestigious Ministry of Defence school and imbibed the basics of culinary from IHMCT. Trained under the best hotel brands and culinary experts in the world, served the best International Hotel Groups in senior leadership positions, he also drove the business for globally successful food processing people.
He is a popular Chef, TV Presenter and Food Coach with a heart full of love for cooking and a vision to spread the love for good food.
Associated with renowned brands in the hospitality and food industry for over 2 decades, Rajeev offers his culinary and management expertise to support new and reviving restaurateurs, food processing businesses and anyone with a passion for cooking and culinary sciences to make their food making dreams into reality.
His childhood passion led him to the IHMCT Kovalam, India to acquire a Hotel Management degree with specialisation in culinary arts. Thereafter his passion became ambition and he evolved through international hotels to the likes of the Taj Group, The Jumeirah, The Landmark one of the finest in London, The Savoy- A Fairmont Hotel & Doubletree Hilton Tower of London.
After the high end fine dining European culinary experience with the best chefs in the world Rajeev moved back to his hometown, where he became part of the Crowne Plaza Kochi at inception and soon rose to the position of The Director of Food and Beverage. From organizing high profile and innovative F&B events to people development in the stream, his engagement took Trilogi, Mosaic, Skygrill, Aroma, Connexions today’s best restaurants in Kochi to top rating during his tenure.
As IHG’s F&B Champion for South India, he was supporting all 8 of the group’s Hotels in this part of the country.
As Consultant Chef to the Choice Group one of South India’s largest business conglomerates, Rajeev led the Sauce manufacturing division in India and R & D for Tastee Choice based in the US, along with heading the F&B for all the Choice schools.
While Rajeev is consultant to many growing food businesses now, beyond commercial support, he is actively involved in social projects with individuals and organisations committed to food related social responsibilities.
